Stephen Ayesu Ntim, the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has praised the ruling government for steering Ghana from the edge of economic despair towards recovery.
He highlighted the government’s efforts during global crises, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, emphasizing how they introduced measures to make the country more manageable and better suited to the needs of Ghanaians.
During his speech at the manifesto launch on August 18, Mr. Ntim acknowledged that while Ghana’s challenges are not fully behind it, substantial progress has been made.
“Thanks to the president’s visionary leadership, Ghana has risen from the brink of despair. We are on the right path towards economic prosperity and have initiated significant institutional reforms to ensure good and accountable governance within a stable democratic society,” he stated.
Mr. Ntim also highlighted the party’s achievements, including the successful implementation of the Free Senior High School policy, the establishment of STEM and TVET schools, the introduction of mobile money interoperability, and the launch of the Agenda 111 project.
He concluded by urging voters to support the party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Maham, to continue the progress.
