Hilda Baci sets a record for largest serving Nigeria Jollof Rice:  GWR confirms

Hilda Baci, a popular Nigerian chef and culinary celebrity has officially set a new Guinness World Record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, with the help of the food brand Gino.

According to Guinness World Records, her attempt was achieved with a total serving of 8,780 kilograms (19,356 lb 9 oz) of jollof rice.

The record-breaking dish was prepared in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria, drawing attention from food lovers and supporters across the country.

The event not only celebrated Nigeria’s iconic dish but also highlighted Hilda Baci’s continued influence in the culinary world.

It marks yet another achievement for Baci, who previously made headlines with her Guinness World Record attempt for the longest cooking marathon.

The record underscores the global appeal of Nigerian cuisine, particularly the beloved jollof rice, which remains a cultural staple and source of national pride.
