Akufo-Addo pays for GHC15 million surgery to separate conjoined twins

Ghanaian pioneer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has chosen to take up the expense for the medical procedure to isolate the conjoined twins at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge).

The activity is required to cost about GHC 15 million and it will be completed over a time of one year. It is the first run of a particular surgery that will be attempted in Ghana, as per wellbeing authorities.

Reporting the choice of government for the president at the Ridge Hospital on Monday 5 July 2021, the Chief of Staff at the Office of the President, Akosua Frema Osei Opare noticed that Akufo-Addo has trained that all assets expected to do the technique ought to be made accessible to the emergency clinic immediately.
