Alban Bagbin Says LGBTQI worse than COVID-19

The Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has cautioned ambassadors and different associations compromising a few MPs behind a private individuals’ bill trying to condemn exercises of LGBTQI to stop from such activities.

Talking at the speaker’s supplication breakfast meeting, Alban Bagbin guaranteed the bill will be passed before the year closes depicting homosexuality as a pandemic more awful than Covid-19 which requires a purposeful exertion to address.

“This world was made by God as a general public, is made for us to appreciate and directed us to reproduce and fill the world, presently we realize the individuals who really have confidence in God, presently we know where religion really began.

“This pandemic should be battled by us all. I can advise you is more awful than Coronavirus, presently am cheerful our cherished country Ghana is together in this. The cowardly will before long be abandoning to return to join the battle. His Excellency the President has spoken, our conventional chiefs have spoken, our strict chiefs have spoken together, Ghanaians have spoken”.

His remarks come after eight Members of Parliament have introduced a bipartisan private individuals’ bill to the Speaker for a reasonable prohibition on exercises of LGBTQI in Ghana.

The bill remaining for the sake of Samuel Nartey George (Ningo-Prampram),

Emmanuel Bedzrah (Ho West), Della Adjoa Sowah (Kpando), John Ntim Fordjour (Assin South), Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini (Tamale North), Helen Adjoa Ntoso (Krachi West) Rita Naa Odoley Sowah (La Dadekotopon), Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor (South Dayi) when passed will unmistakably prohibit the act of homosexuality completely.

Tending to a speaker’s petition breakfast meeting, President of the Parliamentary Christian Fellowship and Ho West MP Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzra contended the bill is pointed toward halting what he terms intrusion of the good and social texture of the Ghanaian culture from LGBTQI activists.

He said “… for the benefit of the individuals from Parliament to the Rt. Hon Speaker, within the sight of the church, so the intrusion on our qualities today we are saying something that we individuals from parliament we are prepared constantly.”

“With this, Rt Hon Speaker, I need to guarantee all well behaved residents in this country that we individuals from parliament are set up to ensure that in the event that you are honest we will keep on being reputable and the tranquility of God will arrive.’
