Argentina is looking at purchasing up to $664-worth of multipurpose fighter jets to protect its airspace, the Defense Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The cycle “is in the specialized monetary and monetary assessment phase of five other options,” the ministry said in an authority articulation.
Argentina is amidst the extreme financial emergency that was exacerbated by the Covid pandemic.
The ministry said the financing for the arranged procurement of the jets was laid out in the 2022 spending suggestion that will be decided on in congress, where the overseeing alliance has a larger part, in the coming weeks.
