USAID workers placed on leave globally as Trump moves to shut down the agency.

A State Department notice to USAID employees ‒ two-thirds of whom work overseas across 60 countries ‒ said all USAID “direct hire personnel” across the world will be placed on administrative leave effective Friday, Feb. 7 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The only exception is for designated personnel responsible for “mission-critical functions, core leadership and specially designated programs.”

NIA Broadcasts Charges for Ghana Card Services at Premium Centers

According to the announcement made on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, first-time registration and record updates will each incur a charge of GHC 310.00. Card replacement will cost GHC 420.00, while individuals updating their records and replacing their cards simultaneously will pay GHC 355.00. Nationality updates is pegged at GHC 365.00.
