BOST’s Director Urges Student Engagement: Join GITFiC AfCFTA Club for Economic Empowerment

In a historic event held at All Nations University’s Sky Auditorium, the Ghana International Trade and Finance Conference (GITFiC) officially launched the GITFiC African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Tertiary Club, heralding a new era of economic empowerment. With the esteemed patronage of Dr. Prince Brako and Ms. Lily Appiah, the club’s inauguration ceremony resonated with the theme “Impacting Knowledge, Changing Mindsets, and Creating Generational Entrepreneurs for Africa’s Common Market.”

Mr. Marlick Adjei, Director of Corporate Affairs of BOST , highlighted the monumental significance of AfCFTA as a landmark agreement poised to foster economic integration, bolster intra-trade, and unlock Africa’s vast potential. “The establishment of the GITFiC AfCFTA Tertiary Student Club reaffirms our steadfast commitment to actively involve and empower the next generation of leaders and intellectuals,” he emphasized.

In an inspiring address,he underscored the transformative nature of this endeavor, stating, “As we embark on this transformative journey, we are dedicated to reshaping the narrative, empowering students to become architects of change, and champions of economic progress within Africa.”

The launch of the GITFiC AfCFTA Tertiary Club marks a pivotal moment in Africa’s pursuit of economic prosperity, with students poised to play a central role in shaping a brighter future for the continent.

He extended gratitude to the president of All Nations University for serving as the chairman of the inauguration and called upon esteemed faculty members to serve as mentors, guides, and facilitators in deepening students’ understanding of AfCFTA and its implications for Africa’s economic landscape. He stressed the invaluable role of faculty members in shaping the minds and perspectives of the next generation of African leaders and innovators.
