Fans of ‘Black Panther’ have spoken out, claiming that Chadwick Boseman’s popular character should be recast in the future, and, believe it or not, the man’s own brother agrees.

Yes, T’Challa deserves to live on in the ‘Black Panther’ franchise, according to CB’s brother, Derrick Boseman, and if it means casting another actor to play the king of Wakanda — a character Chadwick made famous and iconic — so be it. But here’s the deal… Derrick feels his sibling would have wanted this as well, stating that Chadwick believed T’Challa was bigger than he was as a single man.

Derrick claims that Chadwick was aware of the character’s potency and beneficial influence. Derrick believes that witnessing a Black king, particularly in a superhero position, such as in the Marvel film, has a huge impact on African-American adolescents.

DB claims that by killing off that character so soon after Chadwick’s death, Marvel is depriving black children of a role model.
