DS Smith, a cardboard manufacturer, said on Thursday that its box volume growth has been high in the first half of the year,
owing to the fast-moving consumer goods market and ongoing growth in e-commerce supply, despite the lifting of pandemic restrictions.
The British firm said its overall financial performance met its goals, but it noted an increase in expenditures, primarily due to rising logistics and paper costs.
