In a notice to media sources and online media clients, it has prohibited the detailing of any tactical developments or updates from the war zone – except if the data has been supported by the public authority.

In the interim state media have shown film of the Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, in a provincial area wearing a tactical uniform, in the wake of saying days prior that he would make a beeline for the bleeding edge to coordinate the contention.
