Batman Day will be celebrated in the Philippines with a variety of activities, special programming, themed goods, augmented reality material, and contest giveaways.HBO Asia is holding a contest for Filipinos on Instagram using their Bat-Mobile AR filter, and DC’s Batman Bat-Tech Edition AR app will release a new challenge involving Mr. Freeze and The Riddler on Saturday.
New merchandise from Gold Wing, Spin Master, McFarlane, LEGO, and Funko will be available for Batman aficionados to add to their collections. Meanwhile, from September 9 to 30, SM Store and Lazada will provide discounts on Batman merchandise.
Fans of animation can look forward to special programming on Cartoon Network throughout the month of September to commemorate Batman’s pop culture legacy. Titles include “LEGO DC” episodes, including the premiere of “Batman Family Matters” on September 18, and the one-off “Scooby-Doo & Batman.”
Loyalists of The Dark Knight can also binge-watch Batman content on HBO GO, from “Pennyworth” to “Batwoman,” and a total of nine “Batman” movies.
The month-long Batman celebration culminates on October 17 with the highly anticipated DC FanDome, a virtual presentation of upcoming titles from the DC universe.
