Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett will play together for two nights in New York’s Radio City Music Hall next month, in what is being described as their final show together.

On August 3, in honor of Tony Bennett’s 95th birthday, “One Last Time: An Evening with Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga” will premiere, with a second performance on August 5. The two performers, who previously collaborated in 2011, are set to release a new album together later this year.

In February, Bennett and his family disclosed that he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2016. Despite his diagnosis, the Grammy winner has continued to sing and play music with the assistance of his doctors. According to a press announcement for the occasion, the Radio City concerts will be Bennett’s final performances in New York City “set appropriately at a venue that Tony has enjoyed a multi-decade run of sold-out shows.”

Gaga shared the news on Instagram, writing “I am so honored and excited to celebrate Tony’s 95th birthday with him at these special shows. “

The Tony Bennett Quartet, the Brian Newman Quintet, and an orchestra led by Michael Bearden will perform song versions from the Great American Songbook of standards.

To attend, all attendees above the age of 16 must be properly vaccinated against Covid-19. There will be no telephones, cameras, or recording devices allowed.
