The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) has paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi Esq., as part of efforts to explore opportunities for strategic collaboration aimed at driving Ghana’s economic transformation.
The high-level meeting took place at the GoldBod offices and focused on potential partnerships between the two institutions to strengthen value addition in the gold sector, promote investment, and support private sector growth.
Leading the GNCCI delegation was its President, Mr. Stephan Miezan, who was accompanied by CEO Mr. Mark Boadu-Aboagye, National Treasurer Mr. Kabutey Ceaser, Member Mr. Dennis O. Carter, and Communication Officer Mr. Peter Atsu Dotse.
Discussions centered on aligning the mandates of GoldBod and the Chamber to foster innovation, support local businesses, and enhance Ghana’s competitiveness in global trade, particularly in the extractive sector.
Mr. Gyamfi welcomed the visit and expressed GoldBod’s commitment to deepening stakeholder engagement and leveraging institutional partnerships to unlock new economic opportunities for Ghanaians.
