Government launches digital payslip system for public sector employees

The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has rolled out a new electronic payslip system for all government employees on the National Payroll. The upgrade aims to enhance transparency, security, and ease of access to payroll information.

Under the system, employees must log in using their National Identification Authority (NIA) numbers, ensuring that personal payroll data remains secure and accurate. Officials say the initiative is part of wider efforts to modernize payroll management and strengthen accountability within government services.

How to Access the New E-Payslip System:

  1. Visit: https://gogepayslipgh.com
  2. Click “Forgot Password”
  3. Enter your employee number
  4. Provide your Ghana Card number for verification
  5. Confirm your email address and add or update your phone number (mandatory)
  6. Optionally add an alternate email
  7. Verify your phone via the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to you
  8. Set a new password and confirm it
  9. Choose a security question and provide an answer (keep it confidential)
  10. Review your details, tick the confirmation box, and click “Register” to complete sign-up
