In Q3, ASML maintained earnings win, although revenue fell short.

On Wednesday, ASML Holding (NASDAQ: ASML) posted third-quarter earnings that above analysts’ expectations but sales that fell short of projections.

ASML Holding reported €4.27 earnings per share on €5.24 billion in revenue. Polled analysts, who predicted EPS of €3.95 on revenue of €5.29 billion.

ASML Holdings’ stock has risen 68 percent since the start of the year, but is still 12.24 percent off its 52-week high of €764.40 reached on September 15.

They have outperformed the Euro Stoxx 50, which has gained 17.29% since the beginning of the year.

TomTom failed earnings expectations on October 14, reporting EPS of €-0.1581 on revenue of €127.47 million, compared to predictions of €-0.0734 on revenue of €134.96 million.
