Joe T files to contest Kpone-Katamanso seat

Kpone (GAR) Oct. 08 Parliamentary hopeful, Mr. Joseph Akweteh Tettey has filed his nomination forms to contest on the ticket of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Kpone Katamanso Constituency.

Mr. Tettey who is popularly known as Joe T in the area summited his forms with the Kpone Katamanso Constituency executives at the municipal electoral Office.

In an interview with Gitficonline.com The NDC Parliamentary candidate thanked the electoral commission for taking him through the process succefully. He stated that, kpone katamanso has conducted several elections without any spot of violence hence saying the NDC would not Condone any form of violence during the 2020 polls.

Joe T further informed that, the NDC was not ready to relinquish the seat to any political party adding that kpone katamanso would be considered as world Bank for the NDC after the December 7th elections

According to him, the out going Member of parliament for the area, Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo has fully endorsed his bid to take over the kpone Katamanso seat from him.

‘I will secure over 70 percent of the total votes’ he assured.

He again called on the electorate to vote massively for the flag bearer of the NDC Mr. John Dramani Mahama the win the presidency.

The Greater Accra Regional Directorate of the NDC has imployed all 34 Parliamentary hopefuls to file their nominations with the EC on Wednesday 7th October 2020.
