The Cleveland Browns have a huge COVID-19 issue on their hands after Baker Mayfield and head coach Kevin Stefanski tested positive for the virus on Wednesday, just one day after 8 players were placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

The timing couldn’t be worse for the Orange and Brown, who are pushing for a playoff place and face the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday.

Stefanski has now tested positive for the second time; he was forced to miss the Browns’ playoff victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers last season.

While Baker and KS may be able to return in time for Saturday if two positive tests are returned, there’s a lot more to worry about: talents like Jedrick Wills, Jarvis Landry, Austin Hooper, Wyatt Teller, and Kareem Hunt were also placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday.

There are currently no plans to postpone the game. The Browns’ problems with the virus come on the heels of one of the NFL’s worst days, with 75 players testing positive in the last two days, according to Adam Schefter.
