Kpone Katamanso NDC walks for vote ahead of December polls

Kpone (GAR) Sept.14- Members of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Kpone Katamanso Constituency has embarked on a walk with the parliamentary Candidate (PC) as part of activities to canvass for vote in the December general elections.

The exercise was christened ‘walk with the Parliamentary Candidate (PC)’ with the aim to show  the parliamentary candidate to the constituents.

Addressing the party supporters after  walk in the Nmlitsakpo electoral area, Mr. Nicholas Oko Ofei Kpone –Katamanso Constituency Chairman and the leader for the constituency campaign team charged the party members to remain united and resolute as the general election approaches.

He added that, Kpone Katamanso has remained and was still loyal to the NDC in all elections conducted in the country.

He further charged the members to vote massively for the Parliamentary candidate Joseph Akuerteh Tettey and former president John Mahama to rescue power from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP)

Mr. Joseph Akuerteh Tettey also known as Joe T, NDC parliamentary candidate for the Kpone Katamanso Constituency expressed gratitude for the love and support from party members over the period.

He noted that, he was the right candidate to represent the constituents in parliament after the incumbent Mr.Afotey Agbo, saying he was more experienced and knew the problems within the various communities than any candidate.

Mr. Tettey further advised party members not to be deceived but should rather vote for the NDC for a better future.

‘I will lobby and create jobs for our teaming unemployed youth’ he assured.

Over 150 NDC members participated in the four hours walk across the various communities within the Nmlitsakpo electoral area.

Gitficonline.Com observed that similar event were been repeated across the 18 electoral areas in the Kpone Katamanso constituency of the Greater Accra Region.
