The couple teamed up with Tiffany & Co. to become the brand’s new ambassadors. Even though the husband-and-wife combo has previously collaborated on music projects, this is the first time they have appeared in the same commercial campaign, according to The Independent.

According to the singer’s social media posts, the couple appears to be very trendy. The couple poses in front of a Jean-Michel Basquiat painting wearing black evening attire and sparkling Tiffany diamonds. Alexandre Arnault, the executive vice president of product and communications at Tiffany, was quoted as saying about the ‘ABOUT LOVE’ campaign: “Beyoncé and Jay-Z are the epitome of the modern love story. As a brand that has always stood for love, strength and self-expression, we could not think of a more iconic couple that better represents Tiffany’s values. We are honored to have the Carters as a part of the Tiffany family.”

Beyoncé will sing ‘Moon River’ from ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ in the companion film, which will debut on September 2. Another reason why this ad is notable is because the huge stone that the singer has been pictured wearing is one of the most recognizable pieces of jewelry in the world; it’s the Tiffany Yellow Diamond. In wearing it, she becomes the first Black woman and fourth person in the world to do so.

South African discovery of a huge yellow stone was made in 1877. It was purchased by Tiffany & Co. founder Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1878 for 287.42 carats as a raw diamond. Audrey Hepburn wore it in press shots for Breakfast at Tiffany’s, but it has only been presented in a few shows.
