The King of Nandom and President of the Nandom Traditional Council visited Lambusie in Sissala to discuss peace amidst rising tensions between the local residents and Dagaaba settlers, who have lived in the area for over 75 years. The recent discord has led to violence and unrest.
To ensure peace and tranquility, the Nandom Naa visited to mediate and restore harmony. During the visit, the Lambusie Naa explained how both groups had coexisted peacefully for a long time and detailed the origins of the recent misunderstandings.
They have also invited the regional minister and the regional peace council to address the issue.
The Nandom Naa called for absolute peace and an amicable resolution, reiterating his commitment to settling the matter to prevent further escalation.
