NHIA Has Paid Ghs290m To Service Providers Only In 2021

The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has uncovered that the authority has paid a great all-out of Ghs290, 890, 982.00 (Two Hundred and Ninety Million, Eight Hundred and Ninety Thousand, Nine Hundred and Eighty-Two Cedis) to its credentialed specialist co-ops in 2021 alone.

“Addressing 51.18 percent, Ghs148,888,834.25 was paid to the public medical care offices while private offices got Ghs80,993,592.48, estimated at 27.84 percent.

“Mission offices got Ghs57,081,609.49, meaning 19.62 percent while Quasipublic offices have been paid Ghs3,926,945.77, addressing 1.35 percent,” an assertion said.
