Nick Cannon came clean about his 10-year feud with Eminem and exactly what started it on “The Fat Joe Show.”

Introducing Joeprah. That’s Fat Joe’s new nickname thanks to his brand new REVOLT series “The Fat Joe Show.” On the show, the recording artist turned media personality chops it up with some of your favs for dope conversation and good laughs. Get into it.

“The Fat Joe Show” just keeps coming with more juice, as Joey Crack welcomes Dwyane Wade and Nick Cannon on this week’s episode to share their stories about family, Cannon’s 10-year beef with rapper Eminem and much more.

Coming with the “Joeprah Moment” of the episode, the host asks Cannon, “What’s beef?” But before getting into the nitty-gritty, the mogul made sure to clarify, “I always been an Eminem fan. You know the artist is somebody that I feel like is super skilled, he’s good for the culture, been good to the culture,” he says. However, the issue boiled down to their differing definition of manhood.

The common denominator between the two? Superstar Mariah Carey. After dating Eminem for a short period, the chanteuse then married Cannon in 2008. “That was before me and up until then, I had been nothing but a Mariah fan. I was just excited to be with Mariah Carey,” Cannon explains. “I wasn’t even aware that they had interactions.”

However once the information became relevant, Carey came clean detailing how disrespectful the 8 Mile rapper had been. “As a husband, you know I got to protect my wife at any costs.” Cannon continues to tell how he and his ex-wife chose to move forward, ignoring the remarks made by Eminem until he released “Bagpipes from Baghdad,” which took shots at the happy couple. “Dude came out with a crazy record blatantly disrespecting,” Cannon described, adding Em was, “Using terms we don’t stand for as men about my wife, and then called my name!”

“I get all the jokes and the rah rah, I’m Mr. ‘Wild ‘n Out,’ we can make jokes all day long, but when you go to a certain point where one you start lying; and two, you start blatant calling my wife out her name … you gotta see me!” At the time, the “Wild ‘n Out” creator was managed by Chris Lighty who was also working closely with those around Eminem. Lighty attempted to arrange a sit down with the two guys especially since at the time, Cannon’s focus wasn’t even on his own music. “I wanted to have a real man to man conversation,” Cannon says. However, to everyone’s surprise, Em declined.

“How you just gone say some wild shit and then you don’t want to talk to me? Now that’s even triple disrespectful,” he continues, which started their decade-long feud. Nevertheless, Carey used this opportunity to drop her hit song “Obsessed,” which she posed as an Eminem lookalike in, in the music video. “She’s the queen. She’s the goat on her own, so I ain’t even have to. I was just cheerleading from the sideline,” Cannon adds. Eminem also continued to take shots at the couple over the years — even as recent as Dec. 2019 when he was featured on Fat Joe’s single “Lord Above.”

It was then Cannon refuted musically with a diss track titled “The Invitation” and “Pray For Him.” At this point, he was divorced from Carey and though diss tracks were still being created, he felt the heat had settled. Cannon’s next move — a power move of course — was to invite Eminem on to “Wild ‘n Out.” “I figured at this point, bygones is bygones. Decades have passed. I saw it as an opportunity to promote ‘Wild ‘n Out.’” Cannon says the show was a massive success with rating for that episode reaching new heights and going No. 1 off that single show.

Along with Cannon’s beef, Fat Joe and Wade talked about family legacy and raising children as public figures. The retired NBA player, who is a father of four discussed his son Zaire’s basketball career and his skillset at such a young age. Wade also touched on raising his daughter Zaya and their journey together, as well as the unconditional love he gives to his four children.
