The lengthy wait for the next James Bond film is over for fans of the franchise, as No Time to Die, starring Daniel Craig as 007 for the final time, will hit Indian theatres on September 30, according to Universal Pictures. The final foreign trailer of the film was released and the release date was confirmed by the official handle of the @007 Twitter account.

James Bond will appear in No Time to Die as he prepares to leave active duty. When Felix Leiter, an old CIA friend, shows up and asks for assistance, Bond is led onto the trail of a mystery adversary equipped with hazardous new technology.

Later this month, No Time to Die will be released in English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Punjabi, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, and Bengali.

The film franchise, which is one of the most popular in cinema history, has a large following in India. Dr No, the first James Bond film, was produced in 1962 and starred Sean Connery as the fictitious British spy who enjoys his martinis shaken, not stirred. No Time to Die is the 25th James Bond film, following a six-year hiatus. Spectre, the most recent 007 film, was released in 2015.
