Russia has confirmed that it received formal proposal from the United States regarding the establishment of a “Board of Peace on Gaza”
Speaking at a press conference, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov disclosed that Moscow had been sent a draft charter outlining the structure and objectives of the initiative.

“We have recently received specific proposal, including a draft charter for this mechanism,” Lavrov stated.
He went on to describe the Trump administration as practical and realistic in its approach to international diplomacy. According to Lavrov, despite ongoing global debate over United Nations foreign policy decisions, Washington appears committed to working collaboratively with other nations.
The administration of President Donald Trump consists of pragmatists,” Lavrov said. “it understands that uniting countries requires fully taking into account their legitimate interest.”
The proposed Board of Peace on Gaza was announced by President Trump last week as part of a new effort to address the prolonged conflict in the region. Several countries, including Russia and Belarus, have been invited to participate in the initiative.
