The first digital asset custody licence in Switzerland was awarded by SEBA Bank. The bank’s current focus will be on developing digital crypto assets. SEBA continues to work with financial institutions to develop crypto-asset facilities.

The Swiss Financial Market Authority has given SEBA Bank a CISA licence, the bank stated today (FINMA). SEBA has been granted a licence that will allow it to function as the custodian bank for Swiss collective investment schemes. SEBA Bank will contribute to the evolution of digital asset investing in Europe as a result of this success.

SEBA Bank was the first cryptocurrency company to receive a banking licence from the Swiss financial markets regulator in 2019. It had just been a year since it began operations in mid-2018. It followed up with the debut of its crypto banking services.
