Seth Rollins, a WWE Superstar, has spoken out about the out-of-control fan who speared him during a taping of ‘Raw,’ claiming he was stunned and horrified, and that the assailant should be banished for the time being.
The 35-year-old wrestler arrived in Los Angeles less than 24 hours after becoming the target of an attempted assassination, and he acknowledged he was shaken by the ordeal.
“It’s terrifying, brother,” Rollins said, providing a play-by-play of the incident. “It happened very quickly. I was mostly just reacting and hoping that our security would come and do their job.
Which they did very quickly. And then was just trying to detach and move on. Hope that everybody is okay.”
There was some misunderstanding after the attack as to whether the entire melee was part of the act, which Rollins shot down, claiming, “I realized what was going on after the tackle. The man was speeding around the bend.
“Fortunately, Seth claims he was unharmed during the incident. “No, no serious injuries. Nothing like that. I was safe, we were safe. Everything was okay.”
The 24-year-old fan has been charged with two counts in New York City, as previously reported… However, Rollins remained tight-lipped about whether he wanted the man to face criminal charges.
Seth, on the other hand, is certain that he will never see the fan sitting ringside at a WWE event. “I think as a precedence he probably should not be allowed at the events.”
