Sylvester Tetteh appointed as new Board Chairman of Ghana Enterprise Agency

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has delegated the Member of Parliament for Ngleshi Amanfro, Sylvester Tetteh as the new Board Chairman of the Ghana Enterprise Agency once National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI).

This was reported in a press proclamation endorsed by the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare and located by Citi Business News.

“According to Section 4 (1), (2) of the Ghana Enterprises Agency Act, 2020 (Act 1043), the President of the Republic of Ghana in conference with the Council of State therefore names you [Sylvester Tetteh] as the Chairperson of the Governing Body of the Ghana Enterprise Agency. I make a move to salute you officially on your arrangement,” the Chief of Staff included the assertion

Mr. Tetteh who is likewise a previous CEO of the National Youth Authority has a M.Sc. in Development Finance and B.Sc. in Marketing.

About Ghana Enterprise Agency

The Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) is an administration agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry. The GEA is ordered by the Ghana Enterprises Agency Act, 2020 (Act 1043) to advance and foster MSMEs in Ghana.

The NBSSI was supplanted by the Ghana Enterprises Agency in November 2020.

Its point is to interrelate, regulate and animate the improvement of Micro, Small, and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs).

GEA is going by Mrs Kosi Yankey-Ayeh, the main CEO and previous Executive Director of the recent NBSSI.
