Kwabena Adu-Boahene, the former boss of the now-defunct National Security Bureau (NSB), has claimed that GH¢5.1 million currently under scrutiny was used to procure vehicles for then President-elect John Dramani Mahama.
“I have left my appointees in no doubt that I will bring down the hammer swiftly and strongly if they breach any of these provisions,” he stated emphatically.
The swearing-in ceremony took place on Tuesday, May 6, in a barief but significant event at the Ministry’s headquarters.
“Our aim is to grow Ghana’s non-traditional export earnings from $3.5 billion annually to at least $10 billion by 2030,” Mr Mahama said.
Of the 15 trucks, which come with 60-ton flatbed trailers, three are rated at 400 horsepower, while the remaining 12 have 430 horsepower.
According to the notice, the reshuffle decision forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership and service delivery within the health system.
