THE PRESIDENT NOMINATED THREE NEW SUPREME COURT JUSTICES.

His excellence, NANA ADDO DANKWA, has nominated three justices from the court of appeals seeking approval in parliament.

The three nominees are Henry Anthony Kwofie, Yaw Asare Darko, and Richard Frimpong Adjei, all court of appeals justices pending approval.

The nomenclature of the three justices follows the retirement of Kwasi Anin Yeboah, Nene Amegatcher, and Jones Dotse early this year.

In his letter written by the president to parliament on the nomination, he said ‘’ I consulted with the council state by submitting the names and CV’s of the nominees for appointment to the court.

The Council of State has, by letter dated August 11, 2023, notified me of the successful completion of the consultation process.

”Therefore, in accordance with Article 144[2] of the Constitution, seeking the approval of parliament for the appointment of the nominees as justices of the Supreme Court,
