Toyota and Baoshan are being sued by Nippon Steel for patent infringement.

Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corp of Japan announced on Thursday that it has filed patent infringement cases against Toyota Motor Corp (NYSE:TM) and China’s Baoshan Iron & Steel Co Ltd. (Baosteel).
In a statement released, Nippon Steel stated that it was suing each company for 20 billion yen ($176.26 million) in damages for its patent on non-oriented magnetic steel sheets.
