Trevor Noah’s life will never be the same after claiming that a hospital and surgeon permanently damaged him.

According to Noah’s lawsuit, he had surgery last year for an unidentified disease, and the defendants, the Hospital for Special Surgery and Dr. Riley J. Williams, were “careless in neglecting to treat and care for [him] in a meticulous and professional manner.”

Noah’s case appears to focus on both the operation and the aftercare, despite the fact that the details of the lawsuit are vague. In terms of follow-up, the lawsuit contends that the defendants failed to “discontinue certain prescription drugs” and that the medications were improper.

According to the lawsuit, the surgery was a nightmare from start to finish… from poor diagnosis to surgery and aftercare.

It goes on to say that if Noah had been given full information about the “risks, hazards, and alternatives,” he would have refused treatment outright.

As a result, the 37-year-old host of “The Daily Show” claims he has suffered “serious personal injury” with “permanent, severe, and terrible” consequences. It then goes on to say that his malpractice claim made him “sick, sore, lame, and crippled,” and that he “suffered a loss of enjoyment for life.”

Knee, shoulder, and elbow surgery are Dr. Williams’ specialties.” The lawsuit does not argue that the doctor performed a botched surgery; rather, it is the aftercare between August and December 2020 that is in question.
