Two Russian Official Involved In Extremely Serious Spying Case Expelled By Italy

Two Russian officials have been expelled by Italy over suspected spying as the Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio this known after summoning the Russian ambassador over the issue on Wednesday.


According to the Italian police they had earlier busted a Russian diplomat and Italian navy captain over suspicion of spying.
The two were reported to have been caught swapping documents for money at a clandestine meeting.


Taking to Facebook, Di Maio said that he had protested firmly to the Russian ambassador and told him of the effective and immediate expulsion of two Russian officials involved in such a serious matter
