China is prepared to appropriately manage its disputes with the United States, according to President Xi Jinping, ahead of a virtual meeting with US Vice President Joe Biden.
Xi said China was ready to collaborate with the US on regional and global issues in a letter read by China’s ambassador to the US, Qin Gang, at a luncheon of the National Committee on US-China Relations in Washington on Tuesday.
A date for the Xi-Biden meeting has not been disclosed, but a person knowledgeable on the situation said it may happen as soon as next week.
